Welcome to Science. I have a prediction that we are on the horizon of major new discoveries that will involve enormous and far-reaching paradigm shifts. Several times in contemporary history we have come to plateaus of knowledge where we found ourselves thinking that with just a few more breakthroughs, we will unify the theory and pretty much know all there is to know. I see us there now: panting away at the final few breakthroughs that will seal our grand unification theory (a few more tweaks on the quantum loop gravity thing…) and then we are done. The prediction is that this is a childish illusion. What will soon open up for us is a panorama of knowledge that will utterly dwarf all that we have known thus far. In fact, as this panorama unfolds, we will struggle to comprehend (and perhaps to retain our sanity over) the scope and magnitude of universal profundity, heretofore unknown and unimagined.
This new panorama of reality will be on the order of infinite parallels and hidden dimensions that are concurrently interactive with our own familiar world in mutual connectivity so rich and diverse as to be unfathomable and incalculable by our primitive human mathematical abilities. This is the prediction: you read it here first.
