Most of our current notions about nanotech are derived from our present day thinking which is constrained to the state of our systems at this time in our socio-industrial advancement. Systems carry along with them the capacity to learn and grow as new technology and concepts evolve and develop. As this dynamic growth occurs, the systems influence changes in their cultural environment and together, all of the enveloping metasystem cogenerates sweeping changes which also affect the neurogenesis and conceptual thinking of the human agents acting within the systems. New tools and technology afford advanced evolution in conceptuality and thinking. Therefore, considering the accelerated rapidity of change in modern electronics and industrial technology, we can expect the terrain of nanotechnology to emerge vastly different than it is today, and very quickly with sudden redirections.
