The Revolution vs. The Military Industrial Complex

The Revolution, because it is resisted by the Military Industrial Complex (‘resisted’ in the sense of being its adversary in the battle to restore normalcy), adopts its Operationals and then its Mindset, becoming eventually a miniature version and subsidiary of it. But there are initial differences, especially in the Idealism of the Revolutionary vs. the everyday greed of the Industrialized Warlord. The Revolution will fairly quickly exhaust its means and a liminal phase will ensue during which the Revolution must become a successful Franchise, or else it will play out.

The Revolution thus becomes a Franchise if it is successful; Branding is crucial. The Revolutionary then finds that he will have become a microcosm of the Greater Society, with which his Ideals will either clash (and he must become a sell-out to survive), or he will adjust and find harmonious concordance. Therefore the Revolution is about change; a change for the better and thence Peace, not bloodshed and killing. The Industrialist cares nothing about the anguish exacted by his unquenchable, bloodthirsty grab for ever more profit, more leverage, and more power. The slaughter of the Innocent is merely so much collateral. The lofty Ideals of Peace are of little concern to the Warlord and even the Industrial Monopolist enjoys intentional conflict, if only for the purposes of exploitation. The Revolutionary must ever guard against becoming an Industrialized Militant.
